When the 2.2 update for Zenless Zone Zero arrives this week, Seed will debut on the first banner, and the latest anime style videos and trailer all focus on her. These are all personality-driven pieces that don’t focus on actual in-game movesets, though we do see her fight alongside Seed Sr in “White Scooter Demon.”
The first of the three Seedvideos to appear is called “Love, Death & Constructs.” It is also the longest at over seven minutes long. It features Seed Sr finding Seed Jr for the first time in a Hollow. It showed how the two connected and she developed after being orphaned. This is the first anime-style short film.
The second Zenless Zone Zero Seed video is the “White Scooter Demon” character demo. That featured her handling a group of enemies on an Obol Squad mission.
The last Zenless Zone Zero video is about Obol Squad as a whole. It features the crew enjoying a day off, with Seed hanging out with Soldier 11, Trigger, and Orphie with Magus. This is the other recent animated feature.
As a reminder, Seed is an S-rank Agent. She is an Attack character who deals Electric damage to opponents.
Zenless Zone Zero is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices, and the Seed banner will run between September 4-24, 2025.
