Apple Watch can now notify you if you’re at risk for hypertension.
Today’s Apple Event showcased all the new stuff coming to the Apple ecosystem, including the Apple Watch Series 11. The new big health feature allows the watch to warn users of possible hypertension related to blood pressure, as well as the ability for the watch to analyze and report on your quality of sleep.

The hypertension feature will gather information over a period of 30 days, analyzing how blood vessels respond to your heartbeats. It can then notify you of the possibility of hypertension, allowing you to seek medical assistance for the possibly undiagnosed condition. The Apple Watch will not take your blood pressure, and potential buyers should be fully aware of that. Apple expects to notify over one million people of undiagnosed hypertension in the first year.
The secondary health feature is your Sleep Score. If you wear the Apple Watch 11 at night, it can track things like how often you wake up, your stages of sleep, and more. It will provide you a score to give you an idea of the quality of your sleep, allowing you to make life alterations if you’re motivated to do so.
The Apple Watch 11 will come in three variations: Apple Watch SE 3, Apple Watch 11, and Apple Watch Ultra 3. They are priced at $249 USD, $399 USD, and $799 USD respectively. Pre-orders open today (September 9, 2025) and the Apple Watch 11 will release on September 19, 2025.
