Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough for Whisper of the House.

In this section of the walkthrough, we explore EinSmart’s secret lab a bit more, and take care of the remaining cursed things across town. And then? Into the Museum to finish the game.


Secret Lab & Bus Card

Head to the Secret Lab under EinSmart’s Grandpa’s House. Here, if you check the blueprints in the back, you’ll find that some parts are missing.

These are in the lab itself, so we’ll have no trouble finding them. Interact with the ‘Mark Current Generation’ to find a joystick. Put the joystick in the joystick box, and then use the joystick box.

Pick up the Phase Orb from the joystick box (right-click) and use it on the Phase Cancellation Box. The complete Phase Cancellation Box appears to be cursed, so go ahead and un-curse it.

Whisper of the House Walkthrough

Inside you’ll find… a bus card, which you can use to take buses around town.

Library Person

Head to the far southwest of town, to what appears to be a library. There’s a white figure outside the library that appears to be cursed. Un-curse it to free a townsperson and take the museum counter one number down.

Boat at the Docks & Mysterious Phone Box

Head to the dock to the far southeast of town. One of the boats here is cursed. Right-click on it repeatedly to un-curse it. Right-click on it again to send it sailing.

Head to the east of Chinatown to find a public phone box that’s cursed. As usual, un-curse it.

The Museum & Ending

With all these items done (hopefully we didn’t miss any in the walkthrough), the museum’s big number should be down to 00 now. Head on in.

Whisper of the House Walkthrough

Head to the Epoch Stone Hall in the back. Here, there’s a lot of plaques with information on the town’s buildings and residents. When you’re done reading, head through to the Genesis Terminal.

Talk to the figure in the middle here to conclude the game.

Once outside after the end credits, you’ll find new UI on top of the screen, which you can use to control time and weather.
